“Leaned On The Victim Narrative”: Miss Universe 2025 Faces Backlash Over Her Victory And Speech

Posted on November 25, 2025 By admin

Miss Universe 2025 might be over, but the drama is far from it.

The event was said to be one of the most controversial ones to date, with many leaving with strong sentiments about who should be the winner.

Miss Mexico Fatima Bosch did take home the crown, but her victory was swiftly dimmed by some controversy, and now viewers are having their say on who they think should have won instead.

Following her win, fans were seen flooding social media with accusations linked to favoritism, unfair scoring, and just plain confusion over her final Question and Answer session. The news comes after a former judge’ allegations linked to this year’s event being unfair, as the contestants were chosen before their participation in the rounds.

Fatima was even accused of gaining sympathy with her speech; some strongly believed that she played the victim card too well and therefore didn’t deserve the crown in the first place.

She reflected her win on social media, but some didn’t feel she actually deserved this. Comments below her post were filled with negativity, and some called out the judges for favoring her because she walked out when the host called her dumb.
