The first transgender cheerleader of the NFL is breaking her silence about getting fired.
Justine Lindsay is blaming President Donald Trump for her exit from the Carolina Panthers’ squad, which is something she says she did not see coming from a distance.

Lindsay shed light on how her being trans was a major problem for the Trump administration, and she always feared that such a day would come. She departed from the team in August of this year after being on the Carolina Topcats since the year 2022.
‘I was cut due to the fact that I am trans. I don’t wanna hear anybody say that she did not wish to come back. Why the hell would I not want to come back to a place that I have been a part of for so long’- she mentioned during a livestream event.

Lindsay further revealed that she has no ill will toward her team but wished that the team looked at the bigger picture instead of coming under the pressure of those in higher positions.
“I love them all. I appreciate them so much and all that they have done for me’- the former cheerleader added. Now, it’s like a big slap in the face for the youth, she believes, ever since Trump became the president of the USA.
