The head of the CIA has sensationally claimed that the suspected shooter of the two National Guard Troops in Washington used to work with the agency in Afghanistan.
He was identified as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who was the gunman taken into custody after the shootout, which was just yards from the White House on Wednesday. This left two soldiers in critical condition.

Late during the hours on Wednesday night, the CIA director shared how Lakanwal had some links to the agency from his work, along with US special forces inside Afghanistan, right before the disastrous military withdrawal arose.
He explained to Fox News that his involvement was with a member of a partner force in Kandahar, which ended shortly after the chaotic evacuation.

Similar to President Trump, Ratcliffe blamed the former administration for their disastrous actions during the withdrawal, which enabled unvetted foreigners to arrive in America on a temporary visa basis.
Ratcliffe shared how the Biden administration justified bringing the alleged shooter to America in September of 2021 due to his past work with the American government, including the CIA. ‘The individual and so many more should have never been allowed to come there,’- he continued.
