Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year federal sentence regarding sex trafficking in jail, but her VIP treatment has left readers stunned with the news sparking outrage across the board.
Sources have spoken about how she’s getting favorable treatment at the Federal Prison Camp in Texas. Amongst the alleged perks, staff delivering customized meals directly to her cell is beyond questionable, considering she’s in jail for her crimes.
At the same time, she’s getting access to recreation areas outside normal hours. Similarly, you’ll find her at a cordoned-off visitor space stocked with snacks and refreshments, and even the chance to pet or play with a puppy despite standard rules that prohibit inmates from interacting with service animals in training.
These allegations come through a whistleblower to the House Judiciary Committee and cast major doubts over whether or not Maxwell is being treated like a standard prisoner or given exceptional privileges. In another letter, committee members spoke about staff at the facility getting waited on, hand and foot.
The timing of this news is further adding fuel as Maxwell is said to be getting a commutation of her jail sentence from the Trump administration.
