Millions of Americans will soon get to see an extra $250 in their Trump Accounts coming in 2026, the president confirmed, thanks to the massive $6.25 billion donation shared from Michael Dell, who is the founder of Dell Technologies.
Dell and his wife, Susan, shared the massive news of the donation today through a video posted on their X accounts.
This donation will be spread across a staggering 25 million accounts and comes out to nearly $250 each, the duo confirmed.

For all of those wondering, the Trump Accounts are meant to give the next generation a jump start in terms of savings, as per the White House. This was a project designed by Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill that was rolled out during the summer.
The accounts would be available to those eligible on July 4, 2026, the President shared on Tuesday. He also mentioned how the Dells are providing funds to children ‘that won’t be born particularly rich’ raising eyebrows on the meaning of that statement.
‘They’re gonna hopefully be very rich someday,’- the president mentioned.

‘This will provide millions of kids, middle-class families a huge stake in the American prosperity, a benefit from the risky stock market and a better shot at the American dream’- he explained.
Officials also confirmed that an actual outline for these accounts would be up for grabs on July 5 for families to start signing up for these accounts.
