Democrats have released new “never-before-seen” photos and videos from Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, Little St. James, sparking fresh online debate. The House Oversight Committee’s material offers another unsettling look inside the late sex offender’s hideaway — including a dentist’s office filled with masks and a chalkboard with strange phrases, some of which were blacked out before being made public.
The redactions immediately fueled speculation, especially since older images show unedited versions of the same chalkboard. Online users suggested the blackouts may be intended to confuse the public rather than protect information, and even Joe Rogan commented on the mysterious phrases during a podcast earlier this year.
The newly released documents were taken in 2020, a year after Epstein’s death, and come from the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Justice. Epstein owned two islands in the area, including Little St. James — known by locals as “pedophile island.” In 2022, the USVI attorney general settled a case alleging Epstein trafficked and abused dozens of young women there, reportedly for more than $100 million.
The release also includes images of Epstein photographed with high-profile figures, adding to the ongoing public curiosity surrounding the case.
