A father reportedly took his own life after grieving the loss of his stillborn twins.
The Edwards were super excited to be expecting their little ones, and all preparations were done. However, things did not go as planned, as the babies were born dead at birth.
The mother, Lucy Edwards, says she was only hours into mourning the loss of her kids when she found out that her own husband had taken his life, over the grief.
Now, she’s mourning the loss of her husband, Adam, as well, who passed away after taking his life in Perth. Adam found it hard to grapple with the loss of his twins, who died in July.
Lucy shared more on the story and how she and her husband found out the good news that they were expecting twins in February. Not only was she pregnant but pregnant with two after years of undergoing IVF treatments.
In April, they shared on social media how they were expecting and even surprised everyone with the news of the twins.
The Edwards were shocked to learn that their twins were stillborn at 21 weeks. They underwent funeral services for the little ones whom they named Penny and James.
The couple even took to social media to memorialize the kids, adding, ‘James and Penny were born at 21 weeks 5 days, two perfect sleeping angels.’
