Mongolian version of ‘Jingle Bells’ goes viral

Posted on December 25, 2025 By admin

‘Jingle Bells’ is one of the world’s most beloved Christmas songs, but a new version has taken it to another level. Dutch DJ Ummet Ozcan created a viral remix blending Mongolian throat singing, techno beats, and the 150-year-old holiday classic.

The unique rendition, featuring a fun lyrical twist about a “Mongolian open sleigh,” quickly gained millions of views and widespread praise, with many calling it one of the best versions yet. Fans’ demand led Ozcan to release a full music video showcasing dancers in traditional Mongolian attire, along with a Spotify release.

The track’s appeal lies in its rare throat-singing technique, where performers sing two notes at once. Even the official Santa Claus Instagram account shared the song, adding to its viral success.

What began as a fun idea turned into a global holiday hit, bringing warmth and joy to Christmas playlists everywhere.
