House fire horror as man and dog die in Christmas Eve tragedy

A man and his pet dog have tragically lost their lives in a house fire that took place on Christmas Eve.

Sources from local media outlets have confirmed how the house fire broke out in the early hours of the evening. The emergency services were alerted to the inferno at a property on Brodie Court, Glenrothes, Fife, at about 1:30 am on Wednesday.

Despite the fast response, the man was found dead within the premises. He was pronounced lifeless at the scene, and sadly, his pet dog also ended up dying in the fire.

Police have initiated an investigation to determine the full circumstances linked to this tragedy. Photos from the scene showed several fire engines and ambulances taking place in the call for assistance.

Investigations are now taking place to determine the cause of the house fire that led to the loss of an innocent and precious life.
