Tragic reports have confirmed that a 3-year-old boy was recently left orphaned after a wrong-way, allegedly drunken driver crashed into his family’s vehicle as it made its way from a Christmas party, killing the mother, father, and 5-year-old sister.

The young family of four was believed to be on Highway 99 in Fort Bend County, Texas, when the vehicle was violently struck head-on by a boozed-up motorist going the wrong way around 2 am.

The father and three-year-old boy were rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulance, but the dad ended up dying from his serious injuries.

The young child is now orphaned and is described as a sweet and innocent boy. He remained hospitalized as of Christmas Eve in critical but stable condition, as per police and devastated relatives.

‘In an instant, Dieguito lost the people who adored him, protected him, and were his entire world. He’s currently getting medical care and will undergo surgeries and continue to fight through recovery,’- heartbroken loved ones shared on a GoFundMe post raising money for the parentless child.
