Influencer Melissa Mae Carlton is grieving the devastating loss of her youngest daughter, Molly, who died on Christmas Day—just a year after the death of her older sister, Abi.
In an emotional Instagram post, Carlton wrote that Molly and Abi were “reunited” on Christmas morning, sharing her shock and heartbreak. She said her only comfort was knowing Molly deeply missed her sister and often asked when they would be together again.
Later, Melissa revealed doctors believe Molly suffered a genetic heart condition, which may also explain Abi’s death. After falling ill at home, Molly was rushed to the hospital, but a cardiac event—possibly triggered by a minor illness—proved unsurvivable.
Abi passed away in April 2024 at age nine after battling sepsis. Melissa said while Abi’s death left many unanswered questions, Molly’s hospitalization provided more clarity.
