A hospital accidentally cremated the wrong remains and mistakenly also had buried another due to mislabeling.
The tragic incident arose at the Queen Elizabeth Univeristy Hospital, which is noted for being one of the biggest in Scotland. Sources shared how the big name has been affected by serious errors made through the hands of staff, as per the Guardian.
The mix-ups gave rise to the wrong remains getting cremated and the wrong person being buried.
The mistakes were only recently discovered after both were as by media outlets.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Medical Director Dr. Scott Davidson apologized to the families for the matter and vowed to carry out an investigation as to what went wrong and why.
‘We have a very rigorous process for identification and labeling of bodies from arrival in our morgue until their release into the care of an undertaker,’ a source mentioned.
“It’s of deep regret that these processes have yet to be adhered on this occasion and that as a result, had deeply impacted families and caused them additional distress at a very difficult time,”- the hospital’s statement went on to mention.
