Eight people were left dead in a horror bus crash that took place on Christmas in Mexico.
The incident reportedly arose at about 5 pm local time, which also left 19 people seriously injured.
The reports allege that the vehicle plunged more than 600 feet down an embankment in an area with bends in the road.
Pictures from the scene showed the bus lying on its roof in the municipality of Zontecomatlan, in the eastern state of Veracruz.
The bus was said to be full at the time of the crash, carrying so many passengers who were busy traveling home for the holidays.
Adults and kids were said to be among those killed in the tragedy. Authorities have rolled out a rescue mission and investigation to determine the cause of the crash. State governors were also seen sharing messages for the families of the victims who were involved in the crash.
