“Pawn Stars” fans are rallying around Rick Harrison after another heartbreaking loss. Just 18 months after the death of his son Adam, Rick’s mother, Joanne Harrison, has passed away at age 85 in a Las Vegas hospital.
Rick, 60, is now grieving the loss of two of the closest people in his life. Adam Harrison died on January 19, 2024, at 39, from accidental fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity. Rick later confirmed the overdose and called for greater attention to the fentanyl crisis, sharing a heartfelt tribute to his son on social media.
In a recent interview, Rick admitted he thinks about Adam every day and said losing a child forever changes how you see life, leaving constant questions of “what if.”
These losses follow the death of Rick’s father, Richard “The Old Man” Harrison, in 2018 after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. Rick honored him as his hero, saying he lived a full life and touched millions through “Pawn Stars.”
