Tragic reports are speaking about the devastating blaze at a leading Swiss luxury resort that left more than 40 people dead and hundreds injured.
New Year’s Eve celebrations turned ugly and into an absolute nightmare when Le Constellation bar in the ski resort went up in flames. This left many survivors with third-degree burns.

Distraught families are facing an agonising wait to find out whether or not loved ones passed away in the early hours of Thursday at the nightclub in south-west Switzerland.
So severe were the burns suffered by the mostly young crowd of revellers in the basement bar that Swiss officials said it could take days before they name all those who passed away in the fire.

The news comes as foreign embassies scramble to work out if their nationals were among those caught up in one of the worst tragedies to befall modern Switzerland.
