A 32-year-old woman has reportedly shot three members of her own family to death, before turning the gun on herself.
The shocking suspected murder-suicide in Tennessee has left the community in shock.
Heather Thompson was among the four individuals who were found dead from gunshot wounds in a Waverly residence on January 2 when the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Office carried out a welfare check, as per the media.
The other victims were identified as Arius Thompson, Isaiah Johnson, and Evelyn Johnson. Sheriff Chris mentioned during the investigation how Heather killed the three victims before taking her own life.
The others were longtime residents in Humphreys County, and that made it hard for our neighbors to understand what went wrong.
Investigators don’t believe the remains were inside the residence for a long period of time before being discovered.
