Leaders in Europe, including countries like Germany and France, have confirmed that they are working on a plan in the event that the US follows through on the threat to take over Greenland.
The news comes as tensions continue to soar and many are again considering the idea of annexing the island or using force, including Denmark and Greenland’s own citizens.

The foreign minister of France shared that while nations wish to act if the US moves to take over Greenland from an ally like Denmark, they wish to do so together with other EU partners.
Sources shared how the US is trying to downplay the use of military force to annex the island, but also fears are running quite high at the moment, and that’s why America now wants to sit down and carry out negotiations to purchase the island.

Many in Greenland are opposed to the thought of being part of the USA, let alone having a leader such as Donald Trump.
Others fear that this could lead to a civil war, and the result will be far from amusing.
