Sydney Sweeney beams as she meets Oct. 7 survivors: ‘Not just the jeans that fit well, it’s the values too’

Posted on January 16, 2026 By admin

Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney recently met with Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or, who are two survivors from Israel who were kidnapped during the Hamas attack in October of 2023.

The incident occurred at the Nova music festival, and hundreds were taken at gunpoint. The chilling incident led to a massive war between Israel and Palestine.

Sweeney was seen taking pictures and warmly smiling with the pair while standing arm in arm with them.

This was a gesture that was shared widely on social media by a pro-Israel advocacy group. The meeting was framed as a public show of support for them, as they’ve been through so much trauma in their lives. Yet, the fact that they are miraculously alive is something they will always be grateful for.

The duo was among the many who were taken captive during the mass assault. Argamani was held for eight months before he was freed in the middle of 2024, while Or endured more than two years in captivity before his release late last year. The couple says their reunion was a very emotional one and something they will always cherish, as others with them didn’t manage to be so lucky.
