Tragic reports have confirmed the death of two people in Thailand after a second deadly crane collapse incident in the country’s capital city of Bangkok.
The incident took place at a construction site highway near the city’s Rama II Road. This massive crane structure ended up toppling during work on a high expressway project in the Samut Sakhon province.

The tragedy involved crushing at least two people and leaving the drivers stuck below. Despite paramedics and rescue forces arriving at the scene promptly, they faced immense difficulties entering the very unstable location due to dangling steel and debris.
Therefore, it remains unclear if others were injured or missing.

Authorities are still trying to assess safety standards before sending in full rescue teams. The accident occurred just a day after a huge crane fell on a moving passenger train in the city’s Nakhon Ratchasima province, resulting in derailment that ended up killing at least 32 people and left dozens more injured.
