Tragic reports have confirmed the death of two best friends who were reportedly killed after getting buried inside a sand hole that they dug near Sportsman Park in Florida.
The tragedy arose when the giant sand hole that they had collapsed on top of them, turning a day of play into a heartbreaking tragedy in minutes.
Authorities shared how the young teens were trapped beneath and unable to break free from the deep hole and tunnel inside the park’s loose ‘sugar sand’ when the wall gave way and left them stuck below.
The parents got so alarmed regarding the situation at lunchtime when the pair failed to get back home or answer their calls.
Even though both boys were pulled from the hole and given CPR, they were unable to make it and were pronounced dead at the hospital nearby.
