Taracena was best known for playing drug trafficker Pablo Acosta in Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico, which ran from 2018 to 2021. He also appeared in major productions such as Apocalypto, El violin, Queen of the South, and Sound of Freedom, earning a reputation for powerful performances. Over his career, he received three Ariel Award nominations, Mexico’s highest film honor.
