Legendary actress, singer, and dancer Mitzi Gaynor died at age 93. Her longtime managers confirmed she passed away peacefully of natural causes on October 17, 2024 in Los Angeles.

Gaynor was best known for her work in Hollywood musicals and television specials, especially her iconic role as Ensign Nellie Forbush in South Pacific (1958). She also starred in films like There’s No Business Like Show Business and The Birds and the Bees, and was celebrated for her performances on stage and in TV variety shows throughout her long career.
