Isabel returns home early to find her wealthy husband, Paul, with his mistress, Jane. Unfazed, Paul moves Jane into their home. Paul is powerful and dangerous, and though Isabel can’t leave, she soon demonstrates her strength.
Isabel enters with gifts for Paul’s birthday but is shocked to find him in bed with Jane. Paul coolly introduces Isabel to Jane and dismisses her shock. Isabel decides to leave, but Paul manipulates her with threats about their children.
Despite feeling trapped, Isabel plans to escape. She calls a lawyer but is rejected because of Paul’s influence. The next day, she meets Jane, offering her a deal to help her escape Paul in exchange for money. Jane agrees, and they start gathering evidence against Paul.
When Paul returns early, Isabel is caught off guard, but she continues her plan. Isabel sneaks into Paul’s office, finds incriminating evidence, and sends it to the police and media. Paul catches her, but just as he tries to frame her, the police arrest him. Isabel is freed, and it’s revealed that Charles, the lawyer, helped orchestrate Paul’s downfall.
Isabel walks away empowered, knowing she will finally control her life and her children’s future.
