Actor and celebrity photographer Brad Everett Young, known for roles on Grey’s Anatomy, Boy Meets World, Charlie’s Angels, and Jurassic Park III, later became a photographer, capturing stars like Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Harbour for The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and People.
Young has died at 46 in a car accident on the 134 freeway in Los Angeles when a wrong-way driver collided with his car. He was pronounced dead at the scene; the other driver was hospitalized.
In addition to his entertainment work, Young founded Dream Loud Official, a nonprofit supporting music and arts programs in US schools.
Colleagues expressed grief online. General Hospital actor Chris McKenna posted recent photos by Young, while Parry Shan called him “one of the kindest and most generous people” with “indomitable positivity.”
Born in Virginia, Young moved to Los Angeles for medical school but pursued acting instead, quickly joining the Screen Actors Guild and falling in love with the industry.
