Carrie Anne Fleming, known for roles on iZombie and Supernatural, has died at 51 after battling breast cancer in Canada on Feb. 26.
“She died peacefully with her loved ones by her side,” her representative said, adding she was “inspiring, kind, and will be greatly missed.”
Born Aug. 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia, Fleming studied drama in British Columbia before launching her career with a recurring role on Viper and an uncredited part in Happy Gilmore. She became a familiar face in horror and sci-fi, appearing in Masters of Horror, Supernatural as Karen Singer, and iZombie as Candy Baker. Her TV credits also include Supergirl, UnREAL, Motive, Continuum, The 4400, and Smallville.
Fleming’s film work included Good Luck Chuck, Married Life, and The Unauthorized Full House Story.
Her husband, Jim Beaver, paid tribute on Facebook, calling their love “rare and profound,” and expressing gratitude for having shared such a deep bond.
