A New Hampshire family is mourning 13-year-old Josiah Michael Dwinell, who died by suicide just eight days after his birthday.
Relatives say he had faced ongoing bullying at school and on the bus, and despite repeated warnings and hospital visits, his mental health struggles were not taken seriously. Josiah, who had lost his mother years earlier, lived with his grandmother, who tried to get him help.
His aunt said he reached a breaking point after a bus ride, feeling unable to endure the bullying any longer. The family describes him as a kind, joyful boy whose loss has left a deep void, and a fundraiser was created to help with expenses.
