Savannah Guthrie is speaking publicly for the first time since her mother, Nancy Guthrie, 84, was taken from her Arizona home on January 31, 2026. In a two-part TODAY interview with Hoda Kotb airing March 26–27, Savannah shared the family’s anguish: “We are in agony… I imagine her terror… She needs to come home now.”
Authorities believe Nancy was abducted. Blood at the home matched hers, surveillance showed a masked man with a backpack, and her pacemaker was disconnected. No suspect has been arrested.
Savannah and her family have pleaded for the public’s help, urging anyone with information or footage from key dates to come forward. The case remains unresolved, leaving the family in a “brutal space between hope and horror.”
