A former employee of Howard Stern and Beth Stern has filed a lawsuit alleging a “hostile work environment” and challenging the circumstances of her termination.
Court documents state that Leslie Kuhn joined The Howard Stern Show in 2022, later becoming Howard Stern’s executive assistant in 2024. She claims her duties expanded to managing operations at the couple’s Southampton estate, including staff scheduling, payroll, household management, and assisting with Beth Stern’s animal rescue work.
Kuhn alleges she was praised in 2025 and promised a bonus and raise, but was abruptly fired in February 2026, told her role was eliminated due to downsizing. She also claims she was accused of misconduct that could damage her reputation.
Her lawsuit argues the termination was actually linked to a hostile workplace, disorganized business practices, and pressure related to animal rescue operations at the home. She also disputes confidentiality agreements she was asked to sign, calling some “fraudulent” or unenforceable, and says she refused a non-mutual NDA meant to silence her.
Her attorney claims the Sterns used NDAs to prevent her from speaking out and defending her reputation.
The allegations remain unproven, and the Sterns have not publicly responded.
