John and Alice Trice, a Tennessee couple married for 70 years, passed away just hours apart on April 2—John first, and Alice only nine hours later.
They met at a local dance, built a life together, raised a family, and became pillars of their community, especially through their work with the Wilson County Fair.
Their daughter said they were inseparable—“you couldn’t think of one without the other.” In the end, they didn’t have to live apart.
