Frank Cozzolino, known from HGTV Canada’s Holmes on Homes, has died at 56 following complications from his second liver transplant on Dec. 4.
He had struggled with serious health issues for years and appeared on the series from 2003 to 2008, becoming a familiar face alongside Mike Holmes as they exposed unsafe home renovations.
Cozzolino previously shared that he received a life-saving liver transplant in 2017, calling it a “second chance at life,” but his first transplant eventually failed, leading to another procedure this year.
His longtime co-star Mike Holmes confirmed his passing, describing him as a dedicated colleague who deeply cared about helping homeowners and will be greatly missed.
Cozzolino is survived by his partner Lisa and his daughters, Filomena and Alexandria.
