Brandon Barash, ex-husband of Kirsten Storms, has been granted an emergency restraining order, according to TMZ, over concerns about her mental health and their 12-year-old daughter’s safety.
In court filings, Barash alleged Storms has experienced instability, including housing issues, financial struggles, and episodes he described as delusions and hallucinations. He also claimed she was briefly hospitalized on a psychiatric hold in 2025 after a distressing incident and has since shown recurring mental health concerns.
Barash further stated he previously helped her financially and expressed worry about her ability to consistently care for their child.
Storms, known for her long-running role on General Hospital as Maxie Jones, has recently taken a medical leave after undergoing brain surgery and being diagnosed with an aneurysm. She has since been focusing on her health and family.
