A 22-foot gold statue of Donald Trump has been unveiled at Trump National Doral in Miami, showing him raising his fist after surviving a 2024 assassination attempt.
The statue was reportedly funded by crypto investors and created by sculptor Alan Cottrill, who said it was commissioned for $300,000 and kept in storage until fully paid.
The unveiling was attended by a small group and led by Pastor Mark Burns of Pastors for Trump, who rejected claims that the statue was an act of “worship,” calling it a symbol of resilience, patriotism, and faith in Trump’s survival. He also thanked donors and supporters who helped fund the project.
Trump joined the event by phone, thanking Burns and calling the tribute “done from love,” while praising those involved in organizing it.
