But Emily refused to believe her father was guilty.

“My dad couldn’t have signed those documents,” she said through tears. “He was with me.”
The courtroom went silent.
Judge Harrington quickly realized the prosecution’s timeline was impossible. Emily then revealed another discovery: her father had actually uncovered a massive embezzlement scheme inside Dalton Industries. Before he could report it, the real criminals framed him using a copied digital signature.
When Emily pointed directly at CEO Richard Dalton, panic spread across his face. Investigators immediately moved to detain him.
After reviewing the evidence, Judge Harrington dismissed all charges against Mark Carter and ordered a full investigation into Dalton Industries.
As the courtroom erupted in applause, Mark rushed to his daughter and held her tightly.
“You saved me,” he whispered.
Emily smiled through tears. “I just told the truth.”
