Actor and celebrity photographer Brad Everett Young, known for work on Grey’s Anatomy, Boy Meets World, Charlie’s Angels, and Jurassic Park III, has died at age 46 following a fatal car crash on Los Angeles’ 134 freeway.
According to his representative, a wrong-way driver crashed into Young’s vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was hospitalized.
Later in his career, Young became a successful celebrity photographer, shooting stars like Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Harbour for major publications including Vanity Fair, Vogue, and People.
He also founded Dream Loud Official, a nonprofit focused on restoring music and art programs in schools across the U.S.
Following the news, friends and actors shared emotional tributes online. Chris McKenna called him unforgettable, while Parry Shen described Young as “one of the kindest and most generous people” he had ever met.
Born in Virginia, Young originally moved to Los Angeles to attend medical school, but quickly discovered a passion for acting and entertainment instead — a journey he once said he “absolutely fell in love with.”
