Chet Hanks has moved to Nashville to focus on his country music career and is currently living in a Jayco Eagle RV. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he explained that after getting tired of hotels and rentals, he chose RV life for the comfort and flexibility.
Hanks said he enjoys having his own space, including a kitchen and walk-in shower, while working on his band, Something Out West. The move also marks a fresh start as he builds his own identity outside the shadow of his famous parents, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.
He also shared that living in a trailer park changed his perspective, describing his mostly retired neighbors as welcoming and supportive. His music career is already gaining attention, with Tom Hanks recently spotted cheering him on during a performance at the Stagecoach Festival.
