Canadian authorities have confirmed that the remains of missing actor Stewart McLean were found in Lions Bay, British Columbia, one day after investigators said they believed his disappearance may have been a homicide.
McLean, 45, was last seen at his home on May 15 and reported missing three days later. Police say evidence suggests he was killed, though they believe it was an isolated incident. No suspects or further details have been released.
McLean recently appeared in Virgin River and also had roles in Arrow, Murder in a Small Town, and Happy Face. He also worked as a producer during his career.
Authorities continue investigating and are asking anyone with information to contact IHIT.
