‘Downton Abbey’ Star Passed Away At Age 77!

Nathalie Baye, the acclaimed French actress known internationally for roles in films like Catch Me If You Can (2002) and Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022), has reportedly died at her home in Paris after being diagnosed with Lewy body dementia, according to her family.

Lewy body dementia is a progressive brain disorder that affects memory, thinking, movement, and attention. It can also cause hallucinations, confusion, and Parkinson-like symptoms such as tremors and stiffness.

Baye was one of France’s most respected actresses, winning four César Awards and working with major directors like François Truffaut. She had a long and successful career across film, TV, and theater, and is remembered for her powerful, emotional performances and lasting impact on French cinema.
