Hillary Clinton took aim at Donald Trump’s administration on X (formerly Twitter) Monday, slamming its ongoing attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts.
She responded to a CNN report that the National Park Service had removed references to abolitionist Harriet Tubman from a page about her Underground Railroad network. The changes, initially reported by The Washington Post, were later reversed following backlash.
Sharing a screenshot of the article, Clinton quipped, “What’s next from this administration, fan videos of Jefferson Davis?” — mocking the White House’s stance.
The Trump administration has been rolling back DEI initiatives, including scrubbing and later restoring military history pages about women, people of color, and LGBTQ service members, while labeling DEI as “illegal and immoral discrimination.”
