College Football Player Dead At 24 After Leaving Football!

Former Wisconsin Badgers football player Jack Pugh has died unexpectedly at the age of 24, the university announced. The Ohio native played tight end for the Badgers from 2021 to 2022 before retiring from football in 2023 to focus on his mental health.

Pugh had openly spoken about his struggles with depression and substance abuse, saying he wanted to prioritize his well-being and find happiness. He later worked as a plumber and was remembered for his kindness, humility, and positive spirit.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Kimberly Pugh, his brother Trey, and other family members. His family requested donations to the Columbus Humane Society in his memory.
