Carrie Anne Fleming, known for roles in iZombie and Supernatural, has died at the age of 51 after battling breast cancer. Her representative confirmed she passed away in Canada on Feb. 26, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in 1974 in Nova Scotia, Fleming trained in theatre in British Columbia before starting her acting career with early roles in Viper and Happy Gilmore. Over more than three decades, she became a familiar face in horror and sci-fi television.
She appeared in Masters of Horror and played Karen Singer in Supernatural, as well as Candy Baker in iZombie. Her credits also include Supergirl, UnREAL, The 4400, Smallville, and many others.
On film, she appeared in Good Luck Chuck, Married Life, and Happy Gilmore, and played Candace Cameron Bure’s mother in The Unauthorized Full House Story.
Her husband, Jim Beaver, paid tribute to her, describing their relationship as a rare and profound bond built on deep love and understanding.!!
