Stacey King, Chicago Bulls broadcaster and three-time NBA champion, died on June 7 at age 59 following a fall at his home, according to ESPN Chicago. The Bulls confirmed his passing in a statement, saying they were “devastated” by the loss.
No official cause of death has been released.
King was best known for his long connection to the Chicago Bulls, both as a player and later as a beloved color commentator. Drafted 6th overall in 1989, he played alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen and was part of the Bulls’ first three championship teams from 1991 to 1993.
After his playing career, he became the Bulls’ TV analyst for over two decades, earning a reputation for his energetic style, humor, and memorable catchphrases that made him a fan favorite.
He leaves behind a legacy as both a championship-winning player and one of the most recognizable voices in Chicago basketball.
