“I know how hard it was for the children and my parents,” the Princess of Wales said during a visit to The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, where she met a patient finishing breast cancer treatment.
Kate Middleton reflected on her own cancer journey, saying families go through it together. She warmly congratulated the patient and spoke about the emotional impact on loved ones.
Kate, 44, previously revealed she underwent cancer treatment in 2024, completed chemotherapy later that year, and announced she was in remission in 2025.
She and Prince William have said they chose to be open with their children about her illness, believing honesty helped them cope, even during a difficult period.
