The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is searching for Coral Michelle Smith, a 40-year-old woman wanted in connection with a kidnapping and assault case that occurred on May 29 in Tucson, Arizona, about seven miles from the home of missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie.
Authorities have stressed that there is no known connection between Smith and Guthrie’s disappearance. Smith has an extensive criminal history, including convictions for robbery, assault, vehicle theft, trespassing, and disorderly conduct. Police describe her as 5-foot-6, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and several distinctive tattoos, and are asking the public to help locate her.
