Brad Pitt is reportedly facing another family setback as his daughter Zahara has filed to legally drop “Pitt” from her surname, changing it from Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie.
The move follows her sister Shiloh’s earlier decision to remove “Pitt” from her name, further highlighting ongoing distance within the family after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s split.
The former couple, once one of Hollywood’s most famous families, share six children. Their relationship began to fracture after their 2016 separation and was followed by a long legal battle that was officially finalized in 2024.
Court filings over the years have included serious allegations from Jolie, which Pitt has denied.
Zahara, who has largely stayed out of the public eye, is now focused on college and humanitarian work. Her reported name change adds another sign of continuing tension within the family.
