An Oklahoma father went viral after a man called police on him for taking his two young daughters into a women’s restroom at an Alabama gas station.
Tyler Brodsky said he checked that the restroom was empty before entering because he didn’t want to bring his daughters into a men’s restroom. While helping them wash their hands, another man confronted him and called 911.
Police responded but took no action. After Brodsky shared the video online, it amassed millions of views. The man who reported him was later identified and fired by his employer, which said his behavior did not reflect the company’s values.
Brodsky said he hopes the incident encourages more businesses to install family restrooms so parents can avoid similar situations.
