Popular 80s Actress Passes Away at 65

Jennifer Runyon, known for her roles in Ghostbusters, Charles in Charge, A Very Brady Christmas, and other productions, has died at the age of 65.

Per Page Six, no official cause of death was released. However, actress Erin Murphy shared on social media that Runyon had been battling cancer. According to Murphy, she passed away after a brief illness.

Runyon’s family confirmed the news in a statement shared on her Facebook page, saying she died on Friday night surrounded by her loved ones after a long and difficult journey.

They remembered her for her love of life and dedication to family and friends.

Runyon was best known as an American actress active throughout the 1980s, appearing in both television and film. She became widely recognized for her role in Ghostbusters and later appeared in Charles in Charge, A Very Brady Christmas, and several other TV series and movies.

She eventually stepped away from acting to focus on her family, remaining a beloved figure among fans of classic 1980s television.
