The entertainment world is mourning the loss of beloved actress, writer, and producer Ellen Weston, who has passed away at the age of 87.
Best known for portraying Suzanne Thurston on The Young and the Restless, Weston died on May 28 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to her longtime friend and manager.
Over a remarkable career spanning more than six decades, she became a familiar face to soap opera fans through roles in Guiding Light, Another World, and numerous classic television series, including Bewitched, Wonder Woman, Get Smart, and The Bob Newhart Show.
Beyond acting, Weston built a successful career as a writer and producer, earning recognition for her work behind the scenes. Friends remembered her as a loyal confidante whose kindness, wisdom, and passion for life never faded.
She is survived by her son, Jon.
