A TikTok video from the flight shows a woman telling a flight attendant, “She’s over here stabbing people with forks. She just randomly stabbed me!” The footage also shows a flight attendant taking a fork from a child as another tries to wake the child’s mother.
“The mom did nothing,” the woman later said, suggesting the mother was too tired to supervise. Tensions escalated when another passenger threatened to discipline the child, saying, “I’m going to smack the s**t out of her.”
The video sparked debate online. Some said the reaction was justified given the child’s behavior, while others felt it went too far, pointing out the child’s age.
The original poster shared more details, saying the child had been acting out long before the stabbing. Another child, possibly a sibling, also reportedly caused chaos.
Some viewers sympathized with the mother, acknowledging the difficulty of traveling alone with kids. Others argued that the parent should have taken responsibility, and even suggested legal action could be warranted.
