Veteran soap opera actress Colleen Zenk, 73, is facing two misdemeanor DUI charges following a May arrest in Naples, Florida. According to court records, she was involved in a two-vehicle crash and later charged with DUI causing property damage and DUI with a blood alcohol level above 0.15.
Reports state a witness saw her collide with a parked car after leaving a shopping area. Deputies noted signs of impairment, and breath tests recorded BAC levels of 0.206 and 0.192. Zenk was arrested and later released on bond, pleading not guilty. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for July 29.
This is not her first DUI-related case, as she previously faced charges in 2010 and 2017.
Zenk is best known for her decades-long role as Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns and later appearances on The Young and the Restless. Her representative says she is contesting the charges and has not been convicted.
