Cristina Sanz, beloved star of the Emmy-winning reality series “Born This Way,” has died at 36.
Her family shared that Cristina suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while attending her day program and was rushed to the hospital. Despite doctors’ efforts, she sadly did not survive.
Cristina became known to fans through the A&E series, which followed young adults with Down syndrome as they pursued friendships, relationships, careers, and independence. Viewers also followed her journey with her husband, Angel Callahan, including their wedding featured on the show.
Her family said they will forever cherish the memories and “Cristina moments” she gave them. ❤️
